As with all pictures produced by Keen Edge Framing, these are framed to a conservation level, using appropriate materials and methods, thereby ensuring that the pictures will be protected and remain damage and dust free.

Karl Blossfeldt - Urformen der Kunst, 1941

From a 1941 edition of 'Urformen der Kunst', (Artforms in Nature). Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932) was a German photographer celebrated by the Surrealists and early modernists for his pioneering close-up images of plants and flora. Using a homemade camera and lens that could magnify a subject by 30 times, he captured the microcosmic aesthetic of his specimens. Oak or lacquered black frames. 15" x 20.5"
